The Braves dealt 27-year-old left fielder Raul Mondesi and 23-year-old minor league first baseman Bucky Jacobsen to the Yankees for 37-year-old first baseman Andres Galarraga and 23-year-old minor league reliever Ben Ford.
Mondesi has a career .276 average with 282 hits, 46 doubles, 7 triples, 26 home runs, 143 RBIs, and 137 runs scored to date.
In his 1974-game career Galarraga has hit .268 with 2038 hits, 349 home runs, and 1225 RBIs and has scored 1102 runs. | |
